“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life no one goes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 That’s What Jesus Said!
He did not say I am one of the ways to go to the Father. Jesus said it emphatically That He is THE WAY.
Jesus is THE way - not a way to God. This may seem exclusive on the surface but God wants
for all people to be saved. That is why He sent His Son. Jesus was a gift from God for the whole world (John3:16). The only way to KNOW the One True God is to KNOW Jesus and that invitation to believe is extended to everyone.
Jesus also told his apostles He was GOing to prepare a place for us. Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people. As believers, we must GO the Way of Jesus by believing in Him and following His example all the Way into Heaven.
When we Know the Way and Go the Way (by following Jesus example) it will be easier to Show the Way to others. After all, as believers, our job is to do as Jesus said: “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15
