During my walk this cool Thanksgiving morning, I took time to count my blessings as my iPhone counted my 7,453 steps. Here is my conclusion of where and who I AM on this special Day of Giving Thanks in 2020.
It all begins with an attitude of gratitude!
Being joyful isn’t what makes you grateful; Being grateful ... is what makes you joyful!
What am I really thankful for? Keeping it simple because I AM; I thought about four areas of life.
God - the Great I AM Because of Him, I AM no longer insecure; I AM God-secure. I AM no longer afraid to die but instead I AM ready to fly.
Family - Having people around me that truly love me unconditionally and accept me with all my imperfections.
Health - Thank you Jesus as my heart has been made new in the physical and the spiritual. In 2013, an ablation fixed the physical irregularities. My spiritual heart is at peace; full of His Love.
Work - Even though I am retired, my job is now to write about His Goodness. Because of this, I am able to give away whatever proceeds I receive. What a blessing!

In summary, I now hold on to the promise: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
Psalms 23:6
What makes you joyful? Happy Thanksgiving!
