When you squeeze an orange, you get orange juice.
Here’s the real questions, what comes out of you when a difficult situation squeezes you? What words and actions come out of you when you get really upset?
Life trials and struggles will continue; awareness of how you react is the beginning of the change process, IF you want to change. Personally, I pray daily for Wisdom and I know my patience is still a work in progress.
Self-control is where it’s at, but it also takes understanding, attitude, and behavior. I like to reflect on that last difficult situation and think about how I could have reacted differently. You have to explore your options and apply it the next time because there will be more next times as long as you are breathing.
Trust God, pray for help and then give Him the all the glory after you improve.
