Sufficient Grace

Lately, it seems like the more I write and get closer to God, the more I feel guilt about my behavior before accepting Christ.

I’m in the final process of having my fourth Christian book published. The title of it is: Salvation Station: Tuning into Wisdom. Towards the end of the editing process, the work is strenuous and the editors are picky. My sleeping time is shorter because of a busy mind.

My morning routine begins with prayer as I seek guidance for the day. Two mornings ago, the inaudible direction from God told me to go back to sleep so I could be shown something. It was 4:45 am and I gladly rolled over in my cozy sleeping position.

It seemed like I fell asleep as soon as I felt the cool pillow on my face. “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

So this is the dream this old man dreamt.

I saw a beautiful, cascading waterfall that had crystal clear water. The waterfall was in a lush jungle and the water sparkled a pale green color. The best way to describe this color and shine is it looked like a peridot, the birthstone for August. The setting reminded me of Dunns River Fall in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

In this dream, everything was tranquil and serene. At the top of the waterfall, I saw two men about to step into a pool of water. I thought it was a perfect setting for a baptism. When the man, who I thought was getting baptized, stepped into the water he screamed out in pain. It looked as if the water contained acid and the other man began scrubbing him.

I asked God, “What are they doing?” The response was, “Man is always trying to rid themselves from sin, but My Grace is Sufficient!

Thank you Lord for showing me this! You paid for our sins once and for all. All we have to do is believe!
