That’s What Jesus Said
“Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:3 NIV
Chapter 3 in the book of John is worth the time to read Jesus’ answer to Nicodemus about what a person must do to get to Heaven. Jesus answer was clear and simple; a person must be ‘born again.' Please understand that being born again is not a religion but a life changed by God.
Jesus also said, “No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” John 3:13-15 NIV
This conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus is featured in Salvation Station in a chapter called Nick at Night. It helped me and gave me the insight to write that: “Darkness cannot remain where the light of Heaven shines!”
Many will miss Heaven by about a foot and a half. That’s the distance between their head to their heart.
Many go to church regularly, many know & post scriptures and many are genuinely good individuals.
Many know about Jesus in their head but . . . do they have Him in their heart?
Take that foot and a half step to spiritually blend your head with your heart. Don’t be like Nicodemus who did not understand and made the remark below.
““How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” John 3:4 NIV
Let Jesus into your heart, I am proof that He will change you. But it’s not about me, it’s all about Him. Invite Jesus to live in your heart so you you can have eternal life in Him.
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” Revelation 3:20 NIV
Does this raise additional questions? For Heaven’s sake - I hope so!!!
