Choose Wisely -- By Faith

Golden Walk: Following Wisdom into Heaven will be available for pre-order in about four weeks. (In October 2021) Below is a portion of the book found in the chapter called By Faith.

Jesus is in Heaven watching us during this earthly walk and prays that one day we ask Him to be our Savior. He wants to walk with us so we can follow Him into Heaven. The path to Heaven is narrow and lined with angels cheering us on to finish this walk called life. It is only through Jesus Christ that we will be able to eat at His table. Stay on course by walking with a narrow gait. Keep walking using the Word to be a lamp unto our feet. Life can be difficult, but Heaven is real, and there is no greater reward than the Kingdom of God.

Knowing God is our greatest treasure; learning about Him in scripture is easier than finding gold. Just begin by praying, and then open your heart and open your Bible. God is there waiting for you, just waiting to be found. His name is just one letter away from gold and go. Start digging, it is part of getting ready.

By faith, “With God, all things are possible!” (Matt. 19:26). He is in control of all. In our small way of thinking, we look at a life in a measure of years. One of our years equals one trip around the sun. If it is God’s will, we might make it to 70 times around the sun or more. God measures time in eternity, He always was and always will be. Think about this, God is in control of how long it would take our Earth, the Sun, and our solar system to go around the Milky Way galaxy. Scientists estimate it would take 230 million years—that trip is called a cosmic year. That makes me scratch my balding head. He even knows how many hairs I have left. (This reference can be found in Matthew 10:30.)

He knows everything about us and about the universe, not just the little Milky Way galaxy. God wants us to know that He is real. By faith He wants us to know how He loves each of us more than we will ever understand. “Ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities— His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God” (Rom. 1:20).

How far away is the Kingdom of God? It is as close as your faith. “For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (Jn. 3:16). Jesus spoke these words to the Pharisee named Nicodemus after he asked. “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus was listening with his head (in the physical realm). But to be born from above, he had to listen with his heart (in the spiritual realm). Read this scripture with your heart and choose wisely -- by faith.

Make a good choice TODAY, the consequences are eternal.
